Charles (Chuck) R. Bell, Jr.

President and Founder

Chuck Bell, the founder of AIS (Advanced Infusion Solutions), now serves as President of AIS Healthcare. Chuck started in the home infusion industry in 1992. Since then, he has been involved in pharmacy and healthcare senior management, and owns multiple home infusion pharmacies as well as other healthcare-related businesses.

Chuck received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and his PharmD from the University of Arkansas. Licensed in multiple states, he has more than 20 years of pharmacy experience. Chuck also is actively involved with various industry and community committees and boards.

Simon Castellanos

Chief Executive Officer

Simon Castellanos joined AIS Healthcare as Chief Executive Officer in November 2016. Simon brings more than 18 years of healthcare experience, having served in a wide variety of executive roles in both finance and operations. Most recently, Simon was the CEO of Western Dental, Inc., in Orange, CA, a dental service organization with more than 200 centers throughout the West Coast.

Previously, Simon held several executive roles, including president, at Fresenius Medical Care, which provides dialysis services to more than 160,000 patients through a network of 2,100 dialysis centers, 550 home programs and over 1,100 hospital acute programs. Prior to joining Fresenius, Simon worked at Gambro Healthcare International LLC (now Diaverum), in Lakewood, CO, where he held finance positions including Chief Financial Officer of its International Division. Simon’s international experience included responsibility for all financial and analytical activities for the division’s mergers and acquisitions, and SEC filings with Arcadis, NV, in the Netherlands.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College in New York.

Pam Carter

Chief Nursing Officer

Pam, a registered nurse and healthcare professional with experience in hospital, home care and specialty pharmacy settings, serves as Chief Nursing Officer at AIS Healthcare. In her previous position as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Ashfield Healthcare, her primary focus was the launch and execution of multiple national clinical programs. She has more than 30 years of diverse experience, including as the National Leader of the UCB Immunology Nurse Team and Associate Director of Immunology Marketing; Senior Product Brand Manager for Schering-Plough (MERCK) and General Manager and Senior Director of Clinical Marketing for Option Care.

Pam also has held national leadership responsibilities, developing and launching innovative clinically based programs focused on patient adherence and persistency. She has a Bachelor of Administration in Marketing and Business Administration from Columbia College along with a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Julia Doucette

Senior Vice President Human Resources

Julia is an accomplished, hands-on professional with more than 20 years of human resources management experience in healthcare. In her role as Senior Vice President Human Resources for AIS Healthcare, Julia is a strong business advisor for managers and an avid employee advocate. Her broad range of responsibilities include talent management, onboarding, benefits and compensation administration, policy and procedure development and employee relations. Previously, she held human resource leadership positions for hospitals in Florida, Tennessee and Arizona.

Julia earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Business Management from the University of Southern Mississippi. In 1998, she received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification and has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 2010.

John Finley

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

As General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at AIS Healthcare, John draws on 20 years of experience providing legal, audit, compliance and IT security leadership to healthcare companies and integrated hospital systems. He has also served in key legal and policy-making positions at Aetna, the White House and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and is a frequent speaker on health IT, cybersecurity, patient privacy, government investigations and compliance.

John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa and a Juris Doctor and Master of Health Administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Michael Ford

Chief Quality Officer

As Chief Quality Officer, Michael monitors the quality of products and services provided by all three divisions. He has been with AIS Healthcare since its founding in 1998, serving first as a pharmacy technician before moving into operations roles. He was integral in designing our state-of-the-art cleanrooms, developing and implementing key pharmacy processes, including our terminal sterilization program, and launching our proprietary Lynx platform.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi College.

Jud Hall

President, Advanced Infusion Care

Jud serves as President of AIC at AIS Healthcare and has 10 years of experience in the infusion industry. He was previously Vice President of Infusion Services at Elwyn Specialty Care, where he built its pharmacy operations and developed a national sales team. Before that, he served as National Director of IG Sales for CarePoint Partners and continued his national role when BioScrip, Inc. acquired the company. Jud also served as Regional Business Manager for another immune globulin (Ig) manufacturer, Bio Products Laboratory, in the United Kingdom.

Jud received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Georgia.

Ross Kamm

Chief Financial Officer

Ross brings over 15 years of healthcare experience and a wide variety of financial expertise to his position as Chief Financial Officer at AIS Healthcare.

Prior to joining AIS Healthcare, Ross was Vice President of Corporate Development for BioScrip, Inc., a home infusion pharmacy with 80 locations across the nation, where he was responsible for leading M&A and financing activities and establishing a planning and analysis function. He was also Vice President of Finance at InfuScience, Inc, where he implemented various financial and operational improvements and prepared the company for a sales process.

Ross began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the KPMG Transactions Services practice in New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Anish S. Patel

Chief Medical Officer

The Chief Medical Officer at AIS Healthcare, Anish strives to provide patients with compassionate pain management that can improve their lives and sense of well-being. He is known for his multidisciplinary approach to pain management, utilizing interventional, medical and rehabilitative techniques. Double-board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, he is currently Chief Medical Officer at Pain & Spine Specialists.

Anish received his Doctor of Medicine from MGR Medical University/Harvard Medical International in India, served as chief anesthesiology resident at Wayne State University and was a fellow in interventional pain management at Harvard Medical School. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in healthcare management from the George Washington School of Business.

Beat Rychener

Chief Information Officer

Beat’s (pronounced “Ba-yot”) 25 years of experience is primarily in healthcare, though he also has extensive expertise in the development, support and management of highly scalable operational infrastructure across a variety of industries. Prior to joining AIS Healthcare in July 2013, he led two custom ERP software projects, one for SurePoint Medical in Kansas City and the other for McClinton Energy Group in Texas. As Vice President of IT at CCS Medical, Beat managed the IT infrastructure, including the development and technical support of all computer, database and telecommunication systems and the design and implementation of multiple components of a custom in-house healthcare ERP/CRM system. He also has led and supported several mergers and acquisitions and subsequent infrastructure integrations.

Beat holds a teaching degree from the Federal Teaching College in Bern, Switzerland, a diploma in Computer Science from Systor Institute for Computer Science and a diploma in English Studies from Cambridge University.

Michelle Wiest

Chief Operations Officer

Michelle brings more than twenty years of healthcare experience to her role as Chief Operations Officer with AIS Healthcare. She has held clinical and sales positions at Medtronic Neurological (now Restorative Therapies) and marketing roles at Peripheral Vascular/AVE (now Cardiac and Vascular Group). She served as Senior VP, Operations, and Division President at Fresenius Medical Care, where she was responsible for operations in 620 dialysis clinics as well as home and acute programs. Michelle has also led pharmacy operations for CVS Coram.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
