Immunoglobulin Therapy

We offer a range of immunoglobulin infusion therapies to support individuals with immune and neurological disorders, helping strengthen the immune system and manage conditions caused by immune dysfunction. Below, you'll find an overview of the different conditions we support and the therapies designed to improve outcomes and quality of life.

Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)

Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is a neurological disorder characterized by progressive weakness and impaired sensory function in the legs and arms due to nerve damage. It can affect individuals of any age but is more common in adults, often presenting with symptoms such as tingling, numbness, and muscle weakness.

Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a disorder characterized by low levels of antibodies, leading to an increased susceptibility to infections. It affects both children and adults and commonly presents with frequent respiratory infections, sinusitis, and pneumonia.

Dermatomyositis is an inflammatory disease marked by muscle weakness and a distinctive skin rash. It can affect both adults and children, often presenting with muscle pain, fatigue, and a purple-red skin rash on areas such as the face, neck, and hands.

Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by a low platelet count, which can lead to excessive bruising and bleeding. It affects both children and adults, often presenting with symptoms such as easy bruising, nosebleeds, and petechiae (small red or purple spots on the skin).

Infectious and autoimmune encephalitis (IAE) is an inflammation of the brain caused by viral or bacterial infections, or via the immune system mistakenly attacking brain tissue, affecting people of all ages. It typically presents with symptoms such as fever, headache, confusion, seizures, and changes in personality or behavior.

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an illness primarily affecting young children that causes inflammation in the blood vessels. It often presents with symptoms such as high fever, rash, swollen glands, red eyes, and redness in the hands and feet.

Multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN) is a rare disorder characterized by progressive muscle weakness without sensory loss. It primarily affects adults and typically presents with asymmetric weakness in the hands and forearms, often starting on one side.

Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles, which worsens after periods of activity and improves after rest. It can affect individuals of any age and often presents with symptoms such as drooping eyelids, double vision, and difficulty swallowing.

Neuroinflammatory disorders are a group of conditions characterized by inflammation of the nervous system, typically affecting the brain and spinal cord, thereby altering their function. These disorders can affect individuals of all ages and often present with symptoms including fatigue, cognitive difficulties, pain, and mobility issues.

Primary immunodeficiency (Pl) consists of a group of disorders where part of the body’s immune system is missing or functions improperly, leading to increased infections. These disorders can affect individuals of any age, often presenting with frequent, severe, or unusual infections.
